Pacific-rim Laser Damage (PLD) was initiated by Professor Jianda Shao of Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics in China at 2011. This conference was held as a satellite meeting of SPIE Laser Damage Symposium at Boulder. The purpose of this meeting is to communicate with researchers in the field of laser damage and related phenomena especially in Pacific-rim area.Normally, PLD meeting was held biyearly at Shanghai in China at 2011, 2013, 2015. At the intermediate year, PLD'14 was held in Japan, and PLD'16 meeting will be held in Japan.
We are pleased to announce that the 5th Pacific-lim Laser Damage (PLD'16) will be held at Pacifico Yokohama, Yokohama, Japan, on May 18 - 20, 2016. PLD '16 provides good opportunities to exchanging the results of research and discussions in close fields in laser damage research.
In cooperation with
Ten international conferences are going to be held simultaneously. By registering for PLD '16, you can participate in all international conferences. (Include the planned)
You can get more information on OPIC Web site.
OPTICS & PHOTONICS International Exhibition 2016 will be held simultaneously on May 18 (Wed) - 20 (Fri) at Pacifico Yokohama, Japan.
The PLD '16 takes place at Pacifico Yokohama, Yokohama city, Kanagawa prefecture, JAPAN. Yokohama city, the center of Kanagawa prefecture is located south of Tokyo. Pacifico Yokohama is conveniently located about 40 min. by Limousine Bus from Haneda Airport and 90 min. from Narita Airport.
