The International workshop on terahertz technology 2005 (TeraTech ’05) will take place at Nakanoshima Center in Osaka, Japan, from Nov. 16 (Wednesday) through Nov. 18 (Friday), 2005.

The objective of this conference is to provide a forum for the exchange of information on basic science, technology, and application of the present and the future generation of terahertz science and engineering. Invited talks on current status and future prospects by leading researchers will be arranged as well as some contributed presentations.

The conference will cover all aspects of terahertz-technology-based fundamental research and applications. Especially discussion on future prospect and international coordination of the terahertz research is to be emphasized as well as the latest research progress.
