Welcome
This international workshop is inter-disciplinary to aim at the exchange of ideas and information among the scientists working in different fields, while the basic physics they use is same. The topics of the workshop are sharp and focused on the collisionless shock in plasma and charged particle acceleration. The organizing committee recommended the invited speakers and we welcome the application of your contributed paper to this workshop. We have the following four sessions:
- Astrophysics (supernova remnants, gamma-ray bursts, and related topics.)
- Laboratory Astrophysics (collisionless shock formation experiment and related theory and simulations)
- Laser Particle Acceleration (Physics: nonlinearity, pump-depletion, and chaotic acceleration)
- Laser Particle Acceleration (Applications: mono-energy, science and engineering)
I hope you read thegBackgroundh which mentions why I asked the organizing committee to arrange this inter-disciplinary workshop.
Osaka is near Kyoto and Nara, the old capitals of Japan. It is quiet in winter and you can enjoy traditional Japanese culture if you visit there.
I welcome you to join us.
Sincerely yours,
Hideaki Takabe (Aki), Chair
