High Power Laser Opens the New World<\/h2>\n

High power laser has used in the basic science to generate an ultimately high condition in electro-magnetic field, temperature, and density. The obtained knowledge gives us novel creation possibility in the medical and industrial fields of debris remove, cancer therapy, non-destructive inspection, new material production and so on. To realize these, not only high pulse energy but also high repetition rate of laser operation are required for high power laser. The further development of the conventional high power laser can\u2019t achieve them simultaneously.
\nWe develop an innovative high power laser system with our original new technologies of laser materials, coating and laser system in cooperation with companies and research laboratories over the world, to realize a prosperous future by exploring basic scientific researches and by activating medical and industrial worlds.

Junji Kawanaka<\/h4>\n

He graduated from Mikunigaoka high school in Osaka prefecture.
\nHe completed master\u2019s degree of faculty of electrical engineering at Doshisha University and doctoral degree of electro-communication engineering at University of Electro-Communications (UEC), Doctor of Science. He was an assistant professor of Miyazaki University, a researcher deputy chief of Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute and an associate professor of Osaka Uniersity. He is a professor of Osaka University.
