Mr. Kazuki Matsuo, a student of LF group in Institute of Laser Engineering, received Chiyoe Yamanaka Award for his pioneering work on “Experimental Study for Characterizing the Effect of a Strong Magnetic Field to Interfacial Instability”.<\/p>\n
Chiyoe Yamana Award commemorates the achievements by Emeritus Professor Chiyoe Yamanaka in the field of high-power laser and inertial confinement fusion. This is awarded to students and young scientists, who obtained Ph. D. within 5 years, during IFSA of the bi-year international conference. This award is sponsored by IFE forum.<\/p>\n
