Dear Colleagues,

We invite you to submit an abstract for the forthcoming Japanese Congress on High-Speed Imaging and Photonics 2009 (JCHSIP2009).

JCHSIP2009 will be held at Osaka University, Suita, Osaka, Japan, December 10-12, 2009.

This meeting is a domestic meeting which alternates with the International Congress on High-Speed Imaging and Photonics. The goal of the meeting is to bring together researchers working in fields related to high-speed imaging and photonics.

The main subject areas covered by this meeting are:

1. Development of high-speed imaging instruments (high-speed cameras, etc.)
2. Development of high-speed light sources (strobes / lasers / X-rays, etc.)
3. High-speed imaging techniques (image processing / data analysis, etc.)
4. Evaluation and interpretation of high-speed phenomena (impacts / shock waves / laser ablation, etc.)
5. Applications (investigations of high-speed phenomena, etc.)
6. Others

The principal language of the congress is Japanese; however, papers and abstracts written in English are acceptable.

Important Dates:

Abstract submission deadline: September 18, 2009
Start of registration: October 16, 2009
Manuscripts will be due: November 10, 2009

Additional information (registration fee, conference program, etc.) will be announced later.

Registration procedure

We would appriciate your early registration for participation in JCHSIP 2009.
Preregistration will be available from Oct. 20 through Nov. 30.

Early registration fee: 10,000 JPY (8,000 JPY for student).

On-site registration fee: 12,000 JPY (10,000 JPY for student).

The registration fee include one proceedings.

Bunquet fee 5,000 JPY (not yet determined) 3,000 JPY for student.

Please transfer the registration fee to the following account, and be sure to indicate your “ name” in the transfer origin. Thank you for the transfer commission being borne by you.
