参加報告：フランスでの博士課程トレーニングスクールに参加（大阪大学理学研究科・Minh Nhat Ly）

From May 1st-12th, I joint the doctoral training school “Plasmas in Extreme Environments: from Astrophysics to the Laboratory” at Les Houches School of Physics, France.

This is the 6th session of the traditional school on plasma physics at Les Houches, where distinguished researchers give insightful lecture on their expertise. In this year’s program, 56 students were carefully chosen based on their scientific achievements from prestigious universities worldwide. During the school, I had the privilege of being one of the 15 students selected to present my research titled “Towards a New Analytical Model of Collisionless Electrostatic Shocks.” This opportunity allowed me to showcase my work and receive valuable feedback from both lecturers and fellow students.

The most rewarding aspect of the school was the engaging conversations I had with the lectures and fellow participants. The stimulating environment throughout the school provided me with new ideas and perspectives and broaden my general understanding of plasma physics. Finally, I am grateful to meet many like-minded individuals who inspired me with their passion for science exploration. I am confident that the friendships we have formed will continue and flourish far into the future, bearing fruitful outcomes beyond the realm of science.
