Established in April 2016, our group is led by Professor Masashi Yoshimura who is affiliated with the Osaka University Graduate School of Engineering. Our research focuses on the development of nonlinear optical crystals for deep-ultraviolet (DUV) lasers, as well as studies on , novel nonlinear optical devices, and advanced optical thin-film technologies.
We are actively engaged in both experimental and numerical investigations of a wide range of nonlinear optical phenomena, aiming to contribute to both scientific understanding and industrial applications.
Students who want to join our laboratory must be enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student of the Osaka University School/Graduate School of Engineering.
