Introduction to plasma physics and applications to laboratory
astrophysics

●アブストラクト
This lecture series offers an introductory overview of the fundamental
principles of plasma physics. It starts with an overview of the
essential properties of plasmas and then delves into the underlying
physics that governs plasma behavior. This includes concepts like
Debye shielding and plasma oscillations, as well as the modeling of
plasma through kinetic theory and magnetohydrodynamics. Building upon
these foundational concepts, the series will segue into the domain of
laboratory astrophysics. Attendees will gain insights into how plasmas
are used in laboratory environments to simulate and investigate
astrophysical phenomena.

招へい教授としてレーザー研に滞在しているアンドレア・チャルディさん(仏
国ソルボンヌ大学)に、レーザー宇宙プラズマ物理に関する講義をしてもうこ
とになりました。講義は全3回を予定していて、スケジュールは以下になりま
す。

対象は主に大学院生を想定していて、プラズマ物理の基礎的な内容から最近の
レーザー宇宙実験までを取り扱うということです。皆さま(特に学生の皆さん)
の積極的な参加をお待ちしております。なお、講義は大会議室を利用して行い
ますが、Zoomでのオンライン配信も行う予定です。
